A CLEAN TV INSTALL STARTS BEFORE THE DRILL
Height, wall type, bracket depth and cable path all change the final result.
01
Plan
Choose the right height, bracket and cable finish before drilling.
02
Mount
Secure the bracket to the right structure and level the screen properly.
03
Finish
Connect the devices, tidy the cables and make sure everything is ready to use.
More Than Putting a TV on the Wall
We can also sort out the devices, data connection and meeting-room technology around the screen.
Perth Based
Local TV and display installation across Perth homes and commercial sites.
Home + Commercial
Living rooms, apartments, offices, boardrooms, retail and training spaces.
Registered Cabling Capability
Fixed data and network cabling can be included where the display needs it.
Complete Setup
Mounting, soundbar, devices, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and meeting-room connectivity.
The TV should look like it belongs there.
Level screen, sensible height, correct bracket and a cable finish that suits the wall.
PROFESSIONAL TV MOUNTING
A Good TV Wall Mount Is More Than Four Holes and a Bracket
The screen needs to suit the room, the wall needs to support the bracket, and the cables need somewhere sensible to go. It is worth working those things out before the TV is lifted onto the wall.
We can help with the mounting itself, then connect the soundbar, streaming devices, game consoles, network or meeting-room equipment so the setup is actually finished when we leave.
- Check TV size, weight and bracket compatibility
- Assess the wall and mounting position
- Set a practical viewing height
- Mount and level the screen
- Manage visible cables neatly
- Connect and test the devices you use
CHOOSE THE FINISH YOU WANT
TV Mounting Can Be Simple or Fully Finished
You do not need to know the bracket or cabling answer before contacting us. Tell us what you want the wall to look like when the job is done.

DIFFERENT WALLS NEED DIFFERENT MOUNTING METHODS
TV Mounting on Brick, Stud, Concrete and Feature Walls
The bracket and fixings should suit the TV and the wall it is being attached to. We confirm the mounting approach before loading the screen onto the bracket.
Brick & Double Brick
Common across Perth homes. The final cable finish depends on the wall cavity, access and where devices need to sit.
Plasterboard & Stud Walls
Bracket placement needs to account for the available structure, TV weight and the bracket design.
Concrete Walls
Suitable fixings and the correct drilling approach are important for a clean, secure installation.
Feature Walls & Joinery
Timber panels, cabinetry and decorative walls need more planning so the TV sits where intended without damaging the finish.
TV BRACKET SELECTION
Fixed, Tilt, Full-Motion or Slim Fit?
The right bracket depends on TV weight, VESA or model-specific mounting, wall type, viewing angle and how close you want the screen to sit to the wall.
Fixed Bracket
Low profile and simple. Best where the TV faces one main seating area and does not need to move.
Tilt Bracket
Allows the screen to angle down slightly. Useful when the TV needs to sit higher than normal.
Full-Motion Bracket
Extends and swivels for rooms with different viewing positions, corners or access requirements.
Slim / Model-Specific Mount
Some TVs, including Samsung Frame models, use slim or model-specific mounting systems for a close-to-wall finish.
CABLE CONCEALMENT AND TIDY FINISHES
Decide What Happens to the Cables Before the TV Goes Up
Visible power, HDMI and device cables can undo the clean look people want from wall mounting. The right finish depends on the wall construction, existing outlets and the devices connected to the TV.
We can handle low-voltage cable management and registered data cabling within our scope. If a new power point or fixed electrical work is needed, that work must be completed by an appropriately licensed electrical contractor in Western Australia.
- Surface cable covers or tidy cable routing
- Suitable HDMI and low-voltage cable paths
- Data point or Ethernet connection where required
- Media-player location behind or near the TV
- Advice on power-point position before electrical work
- Cleaner connection to existing outlets and cabinetry
IMPORTANT
Power and data are different trades.
Western Technology can handle registered communications cabling. New power points and other fixed electrical work need a licensed electrical contractor.
TV MOUNTING HEIGHT
Get the Height Right Before It Becomes Permanent
There is no single perfect height for every room. Seating, screen size, furniture, soundbar position and whether the TV is above a fireplace all affect the final choice.
01
Start With the Seating
Where do you normally sit, and how far away is the screen?
02
Check Furniture & Soundbar
Allow for the entertainment unit, soundbar, fireplace or cabinetry below the TV.
03
Check Glare & Viewing Angle
Windows and room layout can affect whether a fixed or tilting bracket is more comfortable.
04
Mark It Before Drilling
Confirm the centre line and final height before committing to the bracket position.
SAMSUNG FRAME TV INSTALLATION
The Frame Needs More Planning Than a Standard TV
Samsung Frame TVs are designed for a close-to-wall finish, so the bracket position, wall flatness and cable or One Connect arrangement matter more than they do with a normal TV on a deeper bracket.
Samsung’s current Australian guidance also notes that model details vary, so we confirm the exact TV and supplied mounting system before deciding how the screen and One Connect hardware should be positioned.
- Slim or model-specific wall mount setup
- Careful levelling for the picture-frame look
- Plan the One Connect or connection hardware location
- Coordinate power and suitable cable path
- Consider furniture and art-style positioning
- Confirm model requirements before installation
SOUNDBAR AND DEVICE SETUP
Finish the Wall, Not Just the TV
A TV often shares the wall with a soundbar and depends on other devices hidden in a cabinet or behind the screen. We can plan these together so the finished setup looks deliberate and is still practical to use.
- Soundbar mounting and alignment
- Apple TV and Chromecast
- Foxtel and Fetch boxes
- Gaming consoles and HDMI inputs
- Optical, HDMI ARC or eARC connections
- Media-player mounting and cable tidy
GOOD HANDOVER
You should not need to pull the TV off the wall to work out which HDMI input is which.
Where practical, we connect and test the devices included in the agreed installation before handover.
WI-FI
Simple wireless connection
ETHERNET
Stable wired option
STREAM
Apps and media devices
SMART TV AND NETWORK CONNECTIVITY
If the TV Streams Everything, Its Network Connection Matters
A beautifully mounted TV is frustrating if Netflix buffers or the meeting-room display drops off the network. Western Technology can help connect the TV to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and look at the wider network if the signal at the screen is poor.
- Smart TV Wi-Fi setup
- Ethernet connection where available
- Data point installation where required
- Streaming-device connectivity
- Basic firmware and input setup
- Business network integration for commercial displays
LARGE TV WALL MOUNTING
Bigger Screens Need More Than a Bigger Bracket
TV weight, handling, access, wall construction and bracket rating all become more important as the screen gets larger.
65 to 75 Inch TVs
Common living-room sizes where wall construction, bracket rating and viewing height need to be checked properly.
85 Inch and Larger
Large screens are heavier, harder to handle and less forgiving of poor bracket placement. Access and lifting requirements matter.
Commercial Displays
Large-format screens used in offices, retail and training spaces may need commercial brackets, data and device integration.
COMMERCIAL DISPLAY INSTALLATION
TV and Display Mounting for Offices, Boardrooms and Retail
Commercial displays often need more than a secure bracket. They may need table-to-screen cabling, a video bar, signage player, network connection or a layout that can be used by staff without calling IT every time.
Because Western Technology also works across business IT, networks and meeting rooms, we can handle the display as part of the wider room rather than treating it as a standalone screen.
- Boardroom and meeting-room displays
- Microsoft Teams and Zoom room screens
- Reception and waiting-area displays
- Retail and menu-board screens
- Training-room displays
- Digital signage player and network connectivity
COMMERCIAL DIFFERENCE
A meeting-room screen needs to be easy to use, not just straight on the wall.
We can plan the display, video bar, table connection and network together.
DIGITAL SIGNAGE AND COMMERCIAL SCREENS
Display Installation That Connects to the System Behind It
For business displays, mounting is often only one part of the job. Power, data, media player location and content source may all need to be planned.
Reception Displays
Welcome screens, announcements and branded content in office entrances.
Retail & Menu Boards
Wall-mounted commercial screens for stores, hospitality and customer-facing areas.
Internal Communications
Staff notices, dashboards and business information in offices, warehouses and common areas.
Signage Player Connectivity
Connect the display to a media player, network or internet service used to deliver the content.

TV WALL MOUNTING COST PERTH
What Changes the Price of a TV Wall Mount?
TV wall mounting is difficult to price from screen size alone. A 65-inch TV on an open brick wall is a different job from the same TV on a feature wall with hidden cables, a soundbar and a full-motion bracket.
- TV size and weight
- Wall type and structure
- Customer-supplied or supplied bracket
- Fixed, tilt or full-motion bracket
- Cable concealment or surface management
- Soundbar and other devices
- Access, height and commercial site requirements
Send us the information below and we can quote the actual job rather than giving you a price that changes when we arrive.
FOR A FASTER QUOTE
Send the TV model and one wide photo of the wall.
Also tell us if you need a bracket, hidden cables, soundbar mounting or any devices connected.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
TV Wall Mounting Perth FAQs
Answers about cost, brackets, wall types, hidden cables, Samsung Frame TVs, soundbars and commercial displays.
Yes. Western Technology provides TV wall mounting for homes and businesses across the Perth metro area, with selected regional commercial display projects available by arrangement.
The price depends on the TV size and weight, wall construction, bracket type, cable-management requirements, soundbar or devices, and access. Send the TV model and a wide wall photo and we can quote the actual job.
Yes, a suitable bracket can be recommended or supplied as part of the job, or we can install a customer-supplied bracket after checking that it suits the TV, wall and required movement.
A fixed bracket gives a simple low-profile finish. A tilt bracket is useful when the TV sits higher. A full-motion bracket is useful when the screen needs to swivel, extend or face more than one viewing area. The TV size, weight and VESA or model-specific mounting requirements also need to match.
Yes. Brick and double-brick walls are common in Perth. The mounting and cable-management method depends on the wall, available cavity, TV size and final position.
Yes, where the wall structure and fixing method are suitable for the TV and bracket. The wall needs to be assessed before installation, particularly for larger screens or full-motion brackets.
Yes, subject to the wall, bracket, safe access and handling requirements. Large displays often require additional planning and people for safe lifting.
Cable concealment may be possible depending on wall construction, existing outlets and the devices connected to the TV. Surface cable covers, suitable low-voltage cable routes and device relocation are other options when a fully concealed path is not practical.
Western Technology does not perform fixed electrical work unless it is carried out through the appropriate licensed electrical trade. In Western Australia, new power points and other electrical installation work must be completed by appropriately licensed electrical workers and contractors.
Yes. Western Technology has registered cabling capability for regulated communications cabling work, including fixed data cabling where it forms part of the installation.
Yes. Samsung Frame installations can be planned around the supplied slim mounting system, wall condition and the model’s One Connect or connection arrangement. The exact TV model should be confirmed because Samsung hardware varies between models.
Yes. Soundbar mounting can be included where the soundbar, bracket, wall and TV position allow it. We can also connect HDMI ARC, eARC or optical audio as part of the agreed setup.
Yes. We can connect common media players, streaming devices, set-top boxes and consoles, then check the relevant TV inputs before handover.
Yes. Smart TV Wi-Fi setup can be included. If the wireless signal at the TV is poor, Western Technology can also help with Wi-Fi access points or a wired Ethernet connection.
Potentially, but heat, viewing height, wall construction, cable path and bracket choice need to be considered. Samsung’s current wall-mounting guidance also recommends considering heat from a fireplace and the effect of higher mounting on viewing comfort.
Yes. Apartment installations can be completed subject to access, wall construction, building or strata rules and any restrictions on drilling or cable routing.
Yes. Commercial display installation can include boardroom screens, meeting-room TVs, HDMI and USB-C presentation cabling, video bars, network connectivity and Microsoft Teams or Zoom room equipment.
Yes. We can mount commercial signage displays and help connect compatible signage players, network or internet services used by the display.
