Caravan Park WiFi Installation WA
Guest WiFi, Starlink and park-wide connectivity built for large outdoor sites.
Western Technology designs and installs WiFi and network infrastructure for caravan parks, holiday parks and resorts across Perth and regional WA. We can connect guest sites, cabins, reception, staff housing and shared facilities using WiFi, fibre, Starlink and wireless links.
Guest WiFi • Starlink & NBN • PtP & PtMP wireless • Perth & regional WA
One park. One connected network.
Start with the internet connection, then distribute it across the property using the right mix of fibre, wireless links and access points.
Internet Backhaul
Starlink, NBN, fibre or another primary internet service.
Park Backbone
Fibre, point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links between areas.
Guest WiFi
Coverage for cabins, powered sites, amenities and shared areas.
Park Operations
Reception, POS, office devices, phones and staff connectivity.
A caravan park is not one building
Cabins, powered sites, camp kitchens, pools, reception and staff areas can be spread across a large property. Trees, buildings, distance and limited cable routes make a normal office WiFi design unsuitable.
The network needs to be planned as a whole property, with the internet backhaul, park backbone and WiFi coverage designed together.
Good park design starts with coverage and capacity. The busiest holiday period matters more than the average quiet week.
More than just outdoor WiFi
One well-designed park network can support guests, staff, cabins and shared facilities without turning the property into a collection of unrelated routers and extenders.
Guest WiFi
Coverage across cabins, powered sites, amenities, reception, pools and common areas.
Starlink & Internet
Use Starlink, NBN, fibre or another suitable service as the park’s internet backhaul.
PtP & PtMP Wireless
Link remote areas or multiple buildings without trenching cable everywhere.
Fibre & Data Cabling
Use fibre or structured cabling where a wired backbone makes more sense.
Staff & Office Network
Keep reception, bookings, POS and staff devices separate from guest traffic.
Cabin TV & Entertainment
Connect cabins to MATV, VAST, smart TVs or streaming-capable networks where required.
Fibre, wireless or a mix of both
Large parks often need more than one technology. Fibre can provide a strong backbone where trenching is practical. Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless can reach detached areas without digging across the whole site.
Fibre Backbone
A strong option for permanent links between key buildings, cabinets and accommodation areas.
Wireless Backbone
Useful for remote cabins, staff accommodation or areas where trenching is disruptive.
Hybrid Design
Use fibre where it makes sense and wireless where distance or site conditions make cable impractical.
Guests connect once and use the park
Guest WiFi should be simple to join and designed for the areas guests actually use. That can include cabins, powered sites, camp kitchens, pools, BBQ areas and reception.
Easy Guest Access
Use a normal guest network or a branded login portal where the selected platform supports it.
Peak-Season Capacity
Plan the network around busy holiday periods and many guests connecting multiple devices.
Separate Guest Traffic
Keep guest devices away from the park office, POS and operational systems.
Start with a strong internet connection
A park-wide WiFi system cannot be faster than the connection feeding it. Depending on the location, the right backhaul might be NBN, fibre, fixed wireless, Starlink or more than one service.
For regional parks, Starlink can be a useful option where fixed services are limited. Larger sites may also benefit from a secondary connection or dual-WAN design where continuity matters.
Starlink
Useful for many regional and remote parks where suitable sky visibility is available.
NBN or Fibre
Use a fixed service where the park has access to suitable business connectivity.
Backup Internet
A second service can provide another path if the primary connection fails, where required.
Other technology can use the same park infrastructure
Cabin TV
MATV, VAST and smart TV connectivity can be incorporated where the park needs cabin entertainment.
Cel-Fi Mobile Coverage
Improve weak mobile reception in reception, offices, staff housing or other targeted areas.
Business Phones
VoIP or cloud phone options can connect reception and staff where the wider network supports them.

Questions park operators usually ask first
Send us the park map. We can help work out the rest.
Tell us the number of cabins and sites, the main guest areas, your current internet service and where coverage is poor. We can help scope the backhaul, wireless links and WiFi required across the property.
